They transferred to Cabatuan, Iloilo, on February 12 1899.

On February 11, 1899, Iloilo City fell to the Americans. The following day, February 12, 1899, two battalions of the 18th U.S. Inf marched from Iloilo City to Jaro, and occupied Jaro too.

The Estado Federal de Bisayas immediately transferred to Cabatuan, Iloilo. They sent a letter, dated February 12, 1899, to its president, Raymundo Melliza, that his presence is now needed in Cabatuan.

They remained in Cabatuan, Iloilo, continuously for more than 7 months, from February 12 1899, to September 23, 1899 when the Estado Federal de Bisayas was dissolved in Cabatuan.
